Facility
Layout & Photos
The Connecticut
Sports Complex has a state of the art facility with many features
and amenities. CSC offers over 41,000 square feet of comfort-controlled
indoor space on three levels. In addition, CSC will provide real
soccer, "no dasher boards". Some of the features of our
facility are:
- Two indoor
fields - These large "Field Turf" playing fields
each measuring 75' x 165'. FieldTurf is a revolutionary synthetic
turf, designed with a single goal in mind: to create an artificial
surface that duplicates the playing conditions of real grass.
After years of research and development, and hundreds of tests
on the playing field and in the laboratory, FieldTurf is an artificial
turf unlike any other. It looks like grass, feels like grass and
plays like grass.
- Viewing
- CSC provides two levels of viewing areas. The first is at ground
level lined along the field sideline. The other viewing area is
located on the upper level, over looking the fields from above.
This upper level also has a large seating area, cable TV and snack
and soda vending machines.
- Rooms
- The lower level has 2 large rooms and two smaller rooms ideal
for parties or meetings. There are future plans to open a conditioning
room.
